Together with Sara we decided that Milka has a perfect temperament to work with human. After talking with Ala we decided that OBI will be perfect for her to start with. We are after our first training in Everest - Szczyt Porozumienia.

I can proudly inform that on the 17th of December puppies out of NO LIMIT Esqueen and VENI VIDI VINCI Esqueen were born. We have 7 puppies - 3 girls and 4 boys. All puppies are blue roan. Mom and puppies are all feeling great! :)
All puppies have been reserved long before they were born.

A very satisfying end of the Esqueen Show season. Absolutely fantastic day for us to take part in the most important show in Sweden.

Almost 90 Cocker Spaniels were registered to be shown under the breed specialist from Great Britain; Moray Armstrong. Our dogs done a great job in strong classes.

After 2 years of searching for the right dog from abroad... we found him! :)
We would like you all to meet Dash Of Magic My Own Dream aka Jagger, who soon will join our team from Moscow.
His mother Prada, Marveil Ziguli, charmed as already as a puppy when her breeder Paolo posted her photos. Some time before the mating of Prada we wrote to Daria, her owner, to ask about her plans. We got the answer that there are "some" plans for Prada but there are people already waiting for her puppies. So we waited, and waited... 3 days before Sara's birthday we received a message that the puppies were born. I could not believe that the father of the puppies is a dog we chose to stud our Suzie (QUICKSILVER LASTUG Esqueen) - we finally chose Vinnie. But still loved THAT dog. The father of Prada's litter - Cassom Just 'N'Time. He lives at a fabulous English kennel with a long tradition of breeding owned by Alen Ashen and was born in one of my favourites English kennels Cassom (the home of Veratey Vincenzo At Cassom). What a combination I thought! a pedigree full of my favourite and most titled dogs, including the grandfather of our litters V and C - Lindridge Star Quest, who is just perfect in every inch. From the other side the grandfather is BIS winning at Malvern UK show - Charbonnel Life'N'Time owned by Sandy Platt (if this wasn't enough he is in my favourite color...). We could not let a boy from this litter pass us by. We not only like the pedigree but it also suits our lines perfectly plus when Daria sent us photos of the three born boys we knew from the start that this one was the one and no other! :D He was the first to catch our eye. We are more than thankful to his breeder Darya Zhilina for trusting us with her insanely beautiful baby. We will take the best care of him and we hope we will not let her hopes down. WE ARE OVER THE MOON!!!! 

November was a "slower" month for us not only for our plans to make the family bigger but also for the very intensive December ahead of us.:) On this show we registered only Coco, who bravely represented the Esqueen family and did not disappoint us as she finished her Polish Champion title under judge Laura Cox (IE). Huge congratulations to Ada and Coco!

Emma (NO LIMIT Esqueen after Mandolino and Diana) received 1st degree diploma achieving 84 points out of 100 and was placed 6 out of 11 dogs taking part. Our work was appreciated by the judges. The satisfaction is even bigger as I train my dogs by myself and the “running” through fields and forests with them wasn’t up the spout.

Fabulous news from Sweden. Polka had her hips checked and she is healthy with the result HD A.

One of the last shows of our twins in Junior Class. Ahead of us is 2xCACIB Poznań show and it will be time for them to start adult classes. This year was very hard working but also very successful for Motte and Tammy. Motte at the moment is the dog from our kennel that has the biggest amount of achievements.

Tammy (Junior European Winner 2017 VICTORIA’S SECRET Esqueen) won the junior class excellent 1 /2, Junior Winner of Riga 2017, CQ (Certificate Quality), Crufts Qualification 2018, CAC and BOB. This is a great honor as the CAC in Riga is given only one for the sex, not like in Poland one in all classes. Tammy one with females much older and experienced than she.

Today is the second birthday of our litter N. This was the last litter of our Diana. Hugs and kisses to all puppies and their lovely owners!

TIME TO SHINE was the first for litter T to leave our home. She moved to Gdynia to Ala Jamer home and her lovely Gordon Setters (Leonnelka Kennel). Good luck sweetie!

Today girls from our current litter had a temperament exam at the age of 7,5 weeks old made by Alutka Grabińska   Everet School – Agreement Peek. Thanks to these tests we are able to perfectly suit puppies to their new owners.

Our kennel gives us many reasons to be proud. Trufla – UNIQUE Esqueen (daughter of Emi and HipHop) is one of them! Together with her owner Ala Grabińska they train searching for people – mantrailing and they take part in kynoeducation (do not mistake with dogtherapy).

VENI VIDI VICI Esqueen received excellent note, 1, Junior Winner and Junior Club Winner title! It's his 3rd title this year. So proud of him. :)

A wonderful, I would even say historical, moment for our kennel. :)  Our cocker spaniels took part in a European Dog Show and I have to admit that they have done a great job! The first to show was our Ginger boy and started our good luck.

Tammy is the first particolor ECS in Polish history with this prestige title. The fact that she is my home bred dog, is in polish hands and was shown by my Sara makes me twice as happy and proud. She has not only the most beautiful anatomy but also a lovely cocker character. She is such a hugger ❤ ❤ ❤

Doti won Res CACIB right behind a beautiful girl who was World Winner in the year 2016. Both girls had a high class competition from whole Europe. Dorotka is our little star and is appreciated not only by us but also by many breed specialists. I hope that this title is enough to resolve any doubts under her address.

Today Dami (DANCING QUEEN Lastug) and Diana (DIRTY DIANA Lastug) have their 9th birthday. I wish you long,happy life with us! Thank you Aneta Lachendro for such a wonderful cockers.

Our journey to Italy turned out to be very successful. :) On the beginning of August we are expecting puppies in a very rare in Poland black&white with tan color. The mother will be our Milka - CHPL DREAM COME TRUE FOR ESQUEEN Perfekt Partner, and the father will be Italian - Napo - Multi CH Monteregale Action Full Of Affection. Both parents are free from hip dysplasia, free from genetic eye diseases (PRA) and free from genetic kidney diseases (FN). Their characters are typical for cockers - gentle, always happy and very open to people.
Puppies will be chipped, dewormed and vaccinated adequate to age. On the day they leave our home they will have their health book, extensive layette, a birth certificate on the base of which you later get the pedigree FCI.
The new owner is obliged to sign a new puppy owner contract and to respect its rules.

Today it's already one year without you... my beloved Flami. There are no words that could express what I feel, terrible pain, anger and emptiness after loss.

For the first time we took part in a club show in Serbia and I can definitely say that we will repeat it! :) The hosts took us in fabulously. There was breakfast waiting for all the handlers and after the judgment all celebrated the 20th anniversary of Gallinagos Kennel. We had a wonderful time.
The competition was tough as many participants appeared. The registered Spaniels came from Hungary, Poland, Russia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Austria and of course Serbia.
As befits for a club show the judge was a breed specialist from Great Britain - Micheal Masters owner of Manchela Kennel.
Three junior dogs represented our kennel. As the first was shown VENI VIDI VICI Esqueen. His competitors were from Austria and Serbia. Motte was excellent and placed first out of three, later on winning Junior Club Winner 2017. The judges critique of our boy starts with the words: "Love this dog for his type and balance...". I couldn't be more proud that we managed to breed such a dog. ♥

   
His sister wasn't worse. :) Tammy - VICTORIA'S SECRET Esqueen was also excellent and placed first out of three gaining the Junior Winner title winning with females from Hungary and Great Britain.

   
I had the pleasure to see daughter of Esme and Lennox from litter C. Lorie lives in Hungary and for the last time I saw her when she left our home several months ago. COINTREAU BUBBLES Esqueen - exc, 1/3 Junior Winner. Congrats Patricia!

I am over the moon that all dogs shown by us won their classes. The fact that all these dogs were born at our kennel makes me twice as happy.
On the very end we shown dogs in Best Breeding Group competition. Despite the fact we haven't won this competition the judge said to Sara "love the type of dogs from your kennel"... ESQUEEN.  ♥♥♥

With this win she had gained Junior Champion of Hungary and we welcome home our 14th Champion!
It makes me even more proud because Lorie recieved all her titles from breed specialists (Mina Piljevic, Tamas Jakkel, Maria Luise-Doppelreiter). Congratulations Patricia!!!

During the same day in France, on CAC Chateauroux Milka's daughter had her debiut in Junior class. INSTANT MILKA Esqueen was judged by Dominique Cornet Gougon was excellent and won 1st place. Congratulations Francoise. :)

In the mean time of all those shows I had the opportunity to start in Field Trails with Emma. It was Emma's debut (with actually no training) and I myself had a 7 year break from these competitions. First part in which they check the dogs reaction to the sound of gun and his behavior when left alone was done by her on maximum points. The second part where we went on the trail was a fantastic experience for Emma. It was fascinating until we didn't come across Raindeers droppings what turned out to be more attractive and Emma left the trail to many times. But the best was yet to come - a huge ditch with water crossing the trail. We did not manage to end the trail but I am very proud of Emma.

This was a lovely spent day, many new friendships and a new adventure for me and my dogs. Huge thanks to Ewelina i Crimson for your company.

9-12.3 in Birmingham, Great Britain is the time of the biggest and most important dog show in this part of the world. During this years show there were almost 300 cocker spaniels. This is an amazing event for handlers, breeders but also for the viewers. This is I got the chance to see the two greatest shows: Westminster in NY, which made a huge impression on me and Crufts-this show was closer to my heart. :)

It was an opportunity to see in reality cocker spaniels whose breeding was based on old English lines, the dogs I could admire only on photographs. I got the chance to meet breeders who are my authorities. This year BOB title went to Vinnie- Veratey Vincenzo At Cassom. This made me super proud as he is the father of our V litter and the two puppies that stayed with us- Motte and Tammy.

I was also impressed by Manchela Tiger Tim, Kyna Alber Tatlock, Canigou Rock Star, Kalispell Kingsman, Haradwater Get Lucky at Challowdown and the orange white, with wonderful bones Cachel Prince Charming of Pearkim JW. I am very happy that I was able to see these dogs and the whole show.

I had the chance to meet Pam Mitchell, owner of Marvels father- Amblin's Sweet William who stole my heart. ♡♡♡

ETERNAL WHOLE LOTTA LOVE Esqueen "Lotta" was 4th out of 39 dogs in the show ranking! and was the best dog out of Group 8 :)
NO LIMIT Esqueen "Emma" was 3rd out of all Junior dogs.
NAVARRA BLUE Esqueen "Coco" was 2nd out of all Juniors. Congrats to Coco and Ada!
EL FUEGO MI CORAZON Esqueen "Fueniu" was placed 7th out of 39 dogs. Congrats to Fuenio and Agnieszka! 

Westminster is one of the oldest dog shows organised in the United States of America. Today it is one of the most prestigious dog show in America and - in my opinion - in the whole world. The amount of registrations is limited to about 2500 dogs. Not everybody gets the opportunity to show their dog on the green carpet. The organizers invite 5 dogs from each breed which found themselves on 1-5 position in the previous years ranking. The other dogs that can take part in the show are the ones that have American Champion title. Lately there was added a new class called Bred by Exhibitor, American Bred (born in American kennel), and open for dogs whoch have gained 3,4,5 points in major points in the previous year.

The judging also differs from our European standards. To the final choose of Best of Breed go out all the qualifies dogs and females. After awarding the BOB title they choose the Best of Opposite Sex (BOS). The judges also have the ability to give such title like Award of Merits, Winner Bitch, Winner Dog etc.

It was a very official version and description of the show. How did it look from my perspective? From when I can remember my dream was to see this show live. This year I got the possibility to go to New York and make that dream come true. I was able to see how it all really looks like. We bought the tickets for the show and for the Best In Show Finals two months earlier. It all took place in Madison Square Garden. Cocker Spaniels are in the Working Dog group and were shown on Tuesday, the 14th of February. We arrived around 9 and waited for our breed which was planned to start on 11 oclock. We used the time to take a look around the place. There were many shops. Mainly with jewellery. Not like in Poland only with dog trears and accessories. The biggest shop was with things with the Westminster logo (mainly clothes but not only). There was one whole wall with photos of all the dogs that won Best in Show. I think it is very nice of the organizers to do such a thing. It shows a huge respect for the work that is needed to get to this point on such a show. The Americans treat it very seariously. It was also noticed that everybody had a opportunity to take a photo of oneself with the winner of 2016 BIS winner, CJ a German Short-Haired Pointer. I think it will not be said to much if this dog will be called a celebrity. :) In the Westminster book (you can buy it on the show) are interviews with his owner, photos from tv programmes and a profesional photo session in Times Square, One World Observatory. As you can see a Westminster Winner has a bright future ahead of him. :D

We took a close look also on other breeds and I must admit that every single one was prepared with precision and perfection. There were no exceptions, no people attending the show off-hand. Even the smallest details gave you the impression that it was all through and prepared with special care. One part of the area was organised for handlers to keep their equipment and for dog preparation. I have already seen it once or twice in Europe but never on such a scale. What is more, probably because of the mentaliity of American peaple, they were eager to talk to every person coming up to the grooming table. Some of the so called 'boxes' were decorated by the handlers with important photos or articles about which they were very pleased to talk about. In Poland, but not only, most of the time people do not want to talk to anybody at all. 

 

 

Another thing that caught my attention in a positive way was a special area next to the rings assigned specially for handlers and photographer. From the perspective of a dog handler it is fantastic! Why? Seconds before entering the ring the dog should focus on the handler and the fuzz around the ring is not helping. This was also perfectly planned so both the handlers and the viewers had their spots and were happy. Each ring has seats placed for the audience, the first row is always reserved, I have no idea when and how you can reserve them but I guess they are guaranteed for the dog owners. In America the dogs are showed by professional handlers not by their owners. The handlers take the dog to their home for some time before the show to prepare the dog perfectly. The handlers are all in an association which had a trading post on the show. They were happy to talk to me and told me about the dress code of the handlers and how they need a car adjusted to transport dogs. The show catalog had printed the handler names next to the owner and dog name and at the end has a list of not only owners but also handlers - I like it very much. :)

 

 

 

Around 11 o'clock Ada and I went to the Cocker Spaniel ring. Before our breed the Vizsla was judged. During the breed change we managed to take a seat closer to the ring and had the chance to see the judging from close up. The whole competition was very strong according to their standards as America has their own breed description prepared by the AKC. But there was this one, who stood out of the rest. Looking at the photos I would probably even not notice him but in real live he was a star, I couldn't take my eyes of him! GCH CH Yulietide's Tripping Through Time. He was handled by Lotte from Denmark.I am happy that I will be able in Europe to admire him on closer rings.

 

 

There were 10 cockers fighting for the BOB title. In my opinion all were characterized my similar features. Even though it is the same breed the American ones differ diametrically from the European ones. They are deeply angulated, probably it wouldn't be said to much if I called it over angulated and have very bushy fur.

 

 

 

Of course there were dogs with less bushy fur for example GCH CH Muckross Cobblestone God Gave Me You and the BOB winning GCHB CH Majestic's She's Got Whatever "It" Is. Despite having their fur less substantial they were very neatly prepared. I think that this is the best word to describe such grooming (no hair going the other way then the other, all the cuts go through smoothly etc).

 

 

The judges also act differently than ours. They didn't count the teeth they just checked the bite. The present cockers together with their handlers make a show by themselves. What I disliked was the fast pace of the running and the highly raised heads and tails (cut tails :( ). On the other hand you would be amazed by the bond between the dog and handler. Best handlers from Europe should learn professionalism from them. I would also like to mention the dogs temperaments. I myself was overwhelmed by the chaos in the place but the dogs seemed to not notice it at all and showed like true stars.

Last but not least is the propriety of the handlers. After choosing the winners all the rest handlers in the ring came and congratulated the winner with a smile on their face. I wonder if this will become a standard someday at our country?...

First Polish show this year was as successful as Nitra and Ljubljana. :) Our dogs gave us reasons to be proud not only because of the results but also by the way they presented themselves in the ring. Motte and Tammy, for whome this was a socialisation show delt with it on everyday basis what makes us really happy. :)
